The leader in residential property management
WinnResidential is the nation's fifth largest firm in residential property management, with apartment communities ranging from 17 units to 5,000 units. No property is too big or too small for us — we excel in the most challenging environments. Our substantial portfolio spans market-rate, affordable, senior and mixed-income housing along with condominiums and homes for America’s military families.
At WinnResidential, we strive to significantly raise the standards of residential property management, one interaction at a time. It is an important goal that has driven our company for over four decades. Our over three thousand employees manage over 97,000 apartments and condominiums in more than 23 states, including 23 military-housing installations with over 41,000 homes.
Workforce housing has always been central to our mission. The first property we ever built — in Salem, Massachusetts, in 1971 — created 250 units of quality affordable housing that we are proud to own and manage to this day.
In recent years, we have expanded our organization to meet the growing needs for mixed-income and workforce housing in communities across the country. In 2013 the National Affordable Housing Management Association recognized WinnResidential as the Largest Manager of Affordable Housing in the United States.
Whether it's an urban high-rise or a suburban luxury garden-style community, we specialize in taking innovative approaches to solving problems and seizing opportunities. WinnResidential has earned a national reputation for creating Communities of Quality with a focus on sustainability through our WinnGreen initiatives. An organization of problem solvers, WinnCompanies is focused on improving the living experience and quality of life for all of its residents.
The WinnCompanies managed portfolio is comprised of assets developed and owned by WinnCompanies as well as a diverse grouping of properties owned by more than 70 entities including private developers, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, financial institutions and government agencies. A representative list of ownership entities includes Lend Lease, SunTrust Bank, Fidelity Investments, The Canyon-Johnson Fund, Harvard University, Common Ground Community, NHP Foundation, AEW Capital, The Diocese of Bridgeport, Homes for America, The Boston Housing Authority and the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard.
