WinnCompanies Upgrades Technology Services for Residents in the Northeast with Fiber-Based Products from Comcast

Nation's Fifth-Largest Multi-Family Development Company Leveraging Xfinity Communities' Advanced Communities Network to Provide Internet, Video and Phone Service

PHILADELPHIA July 16, 2015 WinnCompanies and Comcast today announced a 10-year collaboration to upgrade more than 30 of Winn's multi-family communities located in the Greater Boston, Connecticut, Pittsburgh and Washington D.C. areas with fiber-based technology services. This brings the number of Winn properties who have partnered with Comcast to more than 100.

WinnCompanies, the nation's fifth-largest multi-family management company, will leverage Xfinity Communities' Advanced Communities Network (ACN) to provide residents with some of the industry's fastest Internet and Wi-Fi speeds, next-generation Video and the X1 Entertainment Operating System, and digital Phone service.

Our residents expect the fastest speeds and the most entertainment options at their fingertips, said John Tarrant, vice president, Procurement and Sustainability, WinnCompanies. Comcast has been a great partner to us and the fiber-based suite of services they are providing through ACN will help our properties continue to be a great place to live for years to come.

In addition to being able to deliver the full suite of Xfinity products, property management and residents will benefit from a dedicated point of contact for technical support and sales. These dedicated support personnel will serve as a concierge to Xfinity by helping to coordinate installations, troubleshoot disruptions, process service changes and assist with move in, move out and property transfers.

In 2014, Comcast's Xfinity Communities unit unveiled a new suite of fiber-based products and services Advanced Communities Network tailored specifically for multi-family properties. ACN provides move-in ready gigabit-capable solutions over fiber or coax in existing buildings, greenfields, high-rises or single-family home communities; virtually eliminating the hassle of retrofitting current wiring. In addition to fast Internet speeds, ACN powers the full portfolio of Xfinity products including the innovative X1 platform, the fastest in-home Wi-Fi, Xfinity Home security and automation and digital voice.
