Q:  How do I apply for the Maintenance Apprenticeship Program?

The maintenance apprenticeship is a 12-month paid program that begins in September. Positions are available for a short time before the new Fall session begins. To locate open maintenance apprenticeship positions, search the jobs listings, under job category WinnResidential>Maintenance Apprenticeship.

Q:  Can I apply for multiple positions?

Apply to as many positions as you’d like, that are the best fit for you.

Q:  Can I check on my status for a job I have applied to?

No. We know, it’s a bummer and our HRIS system is working on it. In the meantime, email us at for any job’s status.

Q:  Will you let me know when a job has been filled?

At a minimum, you’ll receive a message letting you know the job has been filled.

Q:  How can I connect with Winn to receive updates on jobs, invitations to future events, and stay informed of opportunities?

Q:  Are there any formatting best practices for resumes to be parsed successfully?

Yes! This is important, our system will only accept Word (DOC, DOCX), TXT, HTML or pdf documents. It will NOT accept a scanned copy of your resume. You will receive an error message.

Q:  Can I submit my resume for general consideration, rather than applying to a specific job?

Yes, but we prefer you apply to the positions you’re interested in. Even if there are several. That way the hiring manager has immediate access to your information.

Q:  My friend referred me, how can I tell you?

In the personal information section, it will ask “How did you hear about this job?” Simply select “Employee Referral” and enter your friend's name in the field box that appears.

Q:  I interviewed/applied last year and wasn’t selected. May I reapply?

Yes, you may apply as many times as you like.

Q:  I accepted an offer and didn’t pass the pre-employment screening process. Can I re-apply?

Yes, you are eligible to re-apply six months after the decline date.
